Club Social Events

The Club has always had an active social side, which until recent times has arguably been more important than the football!

Since 2003 events as varied as Halloween Discos, World Cup Barbecues, New Years day walks and coach trips to Ascot have regularly punctuated the yearly calendar.

You may expect that a football club social event is just about groups of blokes going out into the local vicinity and drinking heavily! Now, although on many, many occasions this may have been true, the real benefits of the clubs social side has been to include wives, girlfriends, children and families into organised activities.

It's safe to say from a single man to a family man with kids and pets, whatever your background you'll have the chance to make really good friends as well as play a bit of football.

The Club is always seeking to enhance the social side of membership and welcomes any suggestions or help in creating interesting new activities for it's members and their families.
